Strategy to Screen, All the Way Through
Most of my work starts before anyone knows exactly what needs to be built. I work with product and design teams who have a hard problem, a fuzzy brief, or a lot riding on the next decision, and I stay with the work from the first question through the finished design. There are a few ways to work together, depending on where you are.
Strategy & Research
Before anything gets built, someone has to figure out what's actually true and what to do about it. I run the discovery, audits, and analysis that tell a team what's happening, then turn that into a clear direction, whether that's a few weeks of framing or an ongoing seat helping a team make better calls.
Discovery and problem framing
UX audits and accessibility reviews
Competitive and market analysis
User research and synthesis
Information architecture and design architecture
Recurring direction-setting and design reviews
Design
When the thinking leads into the build, I carry it through to the finished work myself, from wireframes and prototypes to the interface a user actually touches. Because I work on my own, nothing gets lost in a handoff.
Wireframing and prototyping
Interaction design
Visual and UI design
Usability testing
Documentation for engineering handoff
Iteration through build and launch
Systems & Workshops
Some engagements aren't a single project so much as a way of working I help a team build for themselves, whether that's a system they can grow into or a session that unblocks one specific decision.
Component library architecture and design tokens
Pattern documentation and team training
Ongoing system maintenance and versioning
Positioning and messaging workshops
Design sprints and cross-functional alignment sessions
If any of this sounds like where you are, the best next step is a short conversation about what you're facing.
I'm also open to full-time roles with the right team. If you're hiring for a principal or lead design position where strategy and hands-on work both matter, I'd like to hear about it.
